Humility, Simplicity, and Silence

In quiet steps where voices fade,
Beyond the noise, beyond the haze,
A humble heart walks soft and true,
And finds the Light that it once knew.
No trumpet’s call, no need for praise,
No grasping hands, no hectic days,
As silence floating in the ocean’s tide,
Where truth and love and grace abide.
The simplest path, the gentle way,
Where weary thoughts are cast away,
No need for gold, no crown to wear,
Just open hands and quiet prayer.
For in the calm where voices cease,
Where self dissolves and finds its peace,
The soul expands, the will takes flight,
And merges with eternal Light.
